Europe Day on May 9th celebrates the beginnings of the European Union (EU) nearly sixty-seven years ago.

Today 28 countries, including the UK, belong to the EU.

What does this mean to you?

You can live, work, study or start a business anywhere in the EU.

Working and studying in Europe

  • Search for jobs and learning through the EU jobs site.
  • If you’re a young person, the EU Youth Portal has information on holiday work, volunteering, jobs and studying in the EU.
  • The Erasmus+ Programme is open to graduates living, working or studying in Wales. It offers work experience in Europe and the chance to develop your language skills.
