Returning to work
You may have both financial and practical reasons in deciding to return to work. For example:
- You may want to return to work when a period of caring for someone has come to an end or start working while still caring for someone.
- If you’re a parent, you may decide to return to work once your children are older or have left home.
- You may have had time away from work or have been unemployed for a long time because of mental or emotional health problems, such as depression, anxiety and bipolar disorder.
- You may have recovered from a bout of ill health or injury.
