At the end of Year 12 or first year college your son or daughter will have two main choices:

  • Stay in full time education
  • Start work and training

How Careers Wales could help ...

During the year your son or daughter will be offered a confidential careers interview with the careers adviser linked to their school/college.

They will also have the chance to attend group talks on careers related topics and take part in work related activities.

Extra support is on offer for young people with special needs.

Parents can talk to Careers Advisers at parents' evenings, careers events, or by making an appointment at their local Careers Centre or Careers Shop, or by calling 0800 100 900.
