Year 11 = decision time are you ready to decide? After Year 11 do you want to stay in school, go to college or get a job with training?

Only you can decide what you want to do but there's lots of help available if you want it.

Have a look at the options you've got on this website and follow the do's and don'ts below and you'll be well on your way to planning your future.
Do
  - Work out a Career Plan with your Careers Adviser

- Get some work experience

- Enlist for any enterprise days and talks with local employers that happen in your school

- Ask the advice of your parents or carer, as well as older brothers and sisters or family friends

- Take your time making the right choices. You can never spend too much time building your future

- Be patient if things don’t go to plan – people make mistakes and you’ve got plenty of time to make up for them
Don't
  - Ignore the expert advice of your Careers Adviser

- Ignore the advice of those closest to you

- Make rash choices that narrow your options – you’ve got a long life to live, so make the most of it

- Give up hope if you don’t get what you want straight away
