CEG notes
Joint planning sessions involving PSE and CEG staff will be invaluable. A useful starting point is to look at overlaps in the learning outcomes.

   Good practice guide

There are many links between the sets of learning outcomes for CEG, PSE and WRE. Having a co-ordinated programme in your establishment will help the students make sense of their learning, provide coherence and avoid unnecessary overlaps and repetition.

  • Consider a joint audit of CEG and WRE learning outcomes and the relevant ones from PSE
  • Have regular meetings with CEG, PSE and WRE Co-ordinators
  • Involve a wide range of staff to ensure a whole establishment approach
  • Use Progress File to help students record their learning from across these three frameworks
