   Good practice guide

Students are the most important players whose views should be sought. Try to gather student evaluation of different parts of the programme through a wide range of techniques rather than always using an evaluation form. Focus groups are increasingly used as they give more detailed and richer information than is possible from an evaluation form. Remember that you just need a representative sample - not the whole cohort!
