  • We can offer you careers advice and guidance whatever your age;
  • Our Careers Libraries have Information about jobs, careers, courses and the local employment scene. You can also use our computers to research information using the internet or careers software.
  • If you are 16 to 19 and looking for work or training, we offer a vacancy service to help you find you the job or training place you want
  • learndirect 0800 100 900 - phone up free for information on local and national course and training opportunities.
  • If you're 16 to 19, Youth Gateway is here to help if you want some support before moving onto your next step. You could improve your skills and confidence, have fun and meet new people. We also work with small groups in schools.
  • Just been made redundant or want to return to learning? Make an appointment to see one of our Careers Advisers.
  • Whatever your age we can help you to improve your CV, the way you complete application forms and your interview skills.

How we help Schools & Colleges

  • Improving Education Business Links (EBL) to provide activities like work experience, mentoring, business awareness and enterprise days which prepare young people for the world of work.
  • Advising you on innovative ways to deliver Careers and work related education and encouraging your school or college to improve the quality of their provision through working towards the Careers Wales Quality Award.
  • Offering impartial guidance to young people through individual interviews, group activities other related events.
  • Providing training and support on careers education and work related education to your staff.

How we can help employers

  • Find the right young people to fill your vacancies.
  • Inform you of the latest changes in education and training.
  • provide a range of tailored business support services including help with recruitment and selection, workforce development and redundancy counselling.
  • Advise on how to work more closely with local schools and colleges.

How we work in partnership

  • We work in partnership with a range of organisations including educational establishments, employers, training providers, CCETs, Young People's Partnerships, youth services, Job Centre Plus, local councils, ELWa and the voluntary sector.
