Who we are
Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd (CCDG) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Welsh Government. We deliver a remit set by Welsh Ministers and provide the all-age, independent, impartial and bilingual Careers Information, Advice and Guidance (CIAG) service in Wales.
Our vision is for all young people to move smoothly and successfully into employment and for adults to be inspired to take control of their careers.
Our professionally qualified careers advisers help individuals to become more effective at successfully managing and planning their career development.We also work in partnership with partners to deliver a range of related services, including:
- Supporting schools to engage with employers to improve students’ understanding of the world of work
- Providing support for schools with their Careers and World of Work (CWoW) curriculum, including working towards our Careers Wales Mark “Changing Lives” is our strategic vision.
“Changing Lives” is our strategic vision. It provides detail on how we will deliver services to clients, and partners making full use of cutting edge technology and digital services.
